Tottenham Hotspur beat Norwich by city 3-0 on Sunday during Game-week 15 of the Premier League.

Tottenham looked quite rusty in the opening exchanges and Norwich City dominated possession early on. Teemu Pukki came close to break the deadlock in the 3rd minute but the shot was straight at Spurs captain Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham took the lead just ten minutes later with a wonderful long-range strike from Brazilian winger Lucas Moura. Norwich had the chance to pull the game level but Adam Idah fluffed the chance from close range just after halftime.

Davinson Sanchez doubled the hosts lead as he scored from close range after the ball fell to his feet following a corner. Son Heung-min scored the 3rd goal for Spurs as he scored from close range from a Ben Davies pass.

With this victory, Tottenham moved up to 6th place in the league table. Spurs have picked up 22 points from 13 league games and still have one game in hand which was previously delayed against Burnley. While Norwich City are well and truly in the relegation scrap. They sit 19th in the league table, having picked up just 10 points from 14 league games so far.

Tottenham player ratings vs Norwich

Hugo Lloris: 6

Made an early save from a Teemu Pukki shot and had to run off his line to mop up a few long balls. But didn’t have much to do in the game.

Sergio Reguilon: 5

Got booked early on. Soon went down and clutched his hamstring. He was replaced by Ryan Sessegnon.

Davinson Sanchez: 7

Looked shaky at the start of the game but grew into the game. Sanches also scored the 2nd goal for Spurs and looked quite high on confidence towards the end of the game.

Eric Dier: 8

Looked like the leader of the backline, sniffed out danger early and kept the Norwich attackers at bay for the entire game.

Ben Davies: 8

Again a brilliant performance from the left Centre-half position. He Carried possession out well from the defensive third. Made some really good runs forward and assisted Son for the Spurs’ third goal.

Japhet Tanganga: 5

Replaced Emerson Royal who missed the clash due to illness. He struggled playing in the wing-back role and did not offer much going forward. He was taken off at the hour mark.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: 7

The midfield duo looked excellent again. Involved with pretty much everything in the middle of the park. Kept possession well and distributed the possession well.

Oliver Skipp: 8

Another delightful performance in the middle of the park. Made some fantastic ball recoveries and interceptions.

Lucas Moura: 7

Scored the opener of the game with some brilliant footwork and interplay with Son that was finished by a brilliant long-range strike. He was excellent on the day.

Son Heung-min: 8

Assisted the Lucas Moura goal and also scored later on in the game to seal the victory. Looked sharp again and a constant threat for the Norwich defense.

Harry Kane: 6

Kane’s goal drought in the Premier League goes on. Had a few chances but just missing the golden touch at the moment.
