Dejan Kulusevski is being reported to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan in January. During the 2021-22 season, the Sweden international has made 15 appearances for the Old Lady. However, he has only started twice in Serie A.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with the 22-year-old. With reports claiming that the Old Lady is prepared to trade him in the January transfer season.
Spurs are reportedly unwilling to spend €35 million for the attacker permanently at the start of 2022. However, they are interested in a loan deal, according to Calciomercato.
According to the report, Juventus are willing to accept a short-term transfer during the winter window. With the possibility of a permanent move next summer. The most likely conclusion for the Swedish international is to move to England due to the player’s agent demands for it.
In 62 appearances for Juventus in all competitions, Kulusevski, who can play in a variety of forwarding positions, has scored eight goals and registered eight assists.
Former Sweden and Aston Villa ace Marcus Allback described Kulusevski as an “explosive” and “direct” player. Following this, it makes him an appealing target for Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici. The latter actually signed him during his tenure in Turin, so that might corroborate such claims.
Last season, the youthful 6 foot 1 dynamo made 14 direct goal contributions in 47 games across all competitions. But he has struggled for game time since Massimiliano Allegri’s has been reappointment at the Allianz Stadium, starting only two out of his 15 appearances.
Dejan Kulusevski will help tottenham massively
Kulusevski has been a nuisance in attack throughout his brief career, averaging 2.1 crucial passes generated, 1.8 shots, and 1.5 dribbles per 90 minutes, according to Sofascore.
If given the ability to display his talents, Dejan Kulusevski will be quite the player for Tottenham. While on paper he could be a part of the 4-3-3 formation with Conte now in charge of Spurs.
While Tottenham Hotspur does have a lot of wingers who can play from the left. They tend to have lesser players who could play on the right and have a stronger left foot. Due to this style the player would be more encouraged to cut inside into the penalty box, instead of drifting wide to the corner flag for crosses. Following this, we can guess that if Tottenham successfully lands Kulusevski, he could surely prove to be a regular starter at the club.
