According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing AS Roma’s star Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer transfer window. Reports also suggest that Spurs director Fabio Paratici could be the key to signing the Italian international from AS Roma in the summer.
Tottenham had a pretty uneventful January transfer window until the deadline day. Antonio Conte wanted to add reinforcement into his team to help the squad for the rest of the season. But the club missed out on Conte’s top targets in Adama Traore and Luis Diaz. Adama Traore joined Barcelona on loan with an option to buy. While Luis Diaz joined Tottenham’s Premier League rival, Liverpool.
The club announced the signings of Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur. Bentancur joined on a permanent deal. While Dejan Kulusevski joined on an initial 18-month loan deal with an option to buy. While midfield trio of Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele, and Giovani Lo Celso all left the club on deadline day. Dele Alli joined Everton on a permanent basis. But Ndombele and Giovani only left on loan deals until the summer.
Reports suggest that Antonio Conte is keen to sign another wide attacker for his squad. Spurs were scouting Nicolo Zaniolo through the January transfer window. The club are ready to go back in for the winger in the summer. Zaniolo’s current contract with Roma runs until 2024.
