Tottenham to hit Kane with a huge fine for missing training

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to hit Harry Kane with a ‘significant fine’. The English striker was supposed to report back to training on Monday. It is believed that he missed the training to force a move out of the club.

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs have been left disappointed with Kane’s conduct, and the striker will be hit with a ‘significant’ fine from the North London club.

When will Kane return to Tottenham training?

It is very difficult to understand the current situation. Certainly, it has been made very clear by Kane that he wants to leave the club. However, it is said that it is not clear if or when Kane will actually agree to return to training.

Kane’s future?

Kane would be left disappointed as City’s finances would allow them to make a move for him. Even, if there are offers for Kane it is highly unlikely that Levy would listen to any of them.

Manchester City offered Tottenham a deal for Kane but it was rejected. Meanwhile, Daniel Levy wants clubs to pay Kane’s asking price of £160million and won’t accept a bid under his asking price. City’s finances are stretched enough to ensure that they could only sign Kane or Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish. Unless there are significant player sales to fund a second marquee deal of the summer.

ESPN claim United are tracking Kane’s situation carefully. Meanwhile, the ongoing pursuit for England defender Kieran Trippier might just have been flashed a green light. According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Atletico are reluctant to let him go but have identified a potential replacement.

Aston Villa currently have an offer on the table for their captain and it is expected that Villa will accept this bid. If the deal is successful it is very unlikely that Harry Kane would join the champions.
