Fabrizio Romano confirms that Tottenham Hotspurs have signed Yves Bissouma. According to the tweet
“Tottenham are set to complete Yves Bissouma deal, here we go! There will be final contacts with Brighton today on payment terms, then paperworks time. Medical already scheduled as expected…Agreement on €29m fee plus add-ons. Final details, then it will be signed”.
Spurs are getting a good deal on BIssouma here. The Brighton Midfielder was valued at £50 Million initially.
Yves Bissouma, a good deal for Tottenham
The 25-year-old Yves Bissouma is already a premier league veteran. He was a very important player for Brighton. Bissouma helped the Seagulls stay in the premier league with his wonderful performance. However, most importantly, Bissouma is in his peak physical condition. With one year left on his contract, Brighton had no choice but to sell the talented midfielder.
Tottenham Hotspur acted rapidly to secure his services. Recently, there were reports that Manchester United and Arsenal were also interested in the midfielder.
Spurs have a lot of influence this summer. They have qualified for the Champions League last summer. Moreover, they have Antonio Conte as their manager. With the promise of Champions League football and the opportunity to work under Conte, many are willing to join them.
