UEFA Europa Conference League‘s Matchday 5 is set to be underway as Tottenham Hotspur face NS Mura on Thursday. Spurs, currently sit in 2nd place in Group G, having picked up seven points from four games so far in the Europa league. Antonio Conte will be certainly hoping for another positive result after the 2-1 win over Leeds in the Premier League.

Slovenian club NS Mura, having picked up no points from their four matches, sit dead bottom of the group. Since Antonio Conte‘s arrival at Spurs, they have picked up two wins and one draw from his three games. Tottenham will certainly be hoping to secure qualification into the next round of the competition with a win and favorable results elsewhere.

Tottenham vs Mura: Team news

NS Mura attacker Ziga Skoflek is ruled out of the clash again. Mura are likely to stick to the same game plan and squad as they did in the 1-0 defeat to group leaders Rennes. Club captain Ziga Kous will start on the right of the back five.

Forward Amadej Marosa will be hoping to lead the lines for Mura after his goal against NK Domzale at the weekend. NS Mura have no suspensions for the Spurs clash.

Spurs center-half Cristian Romero is suspended for his red card against SBV Vitesse. He would have missed the fixture anyways because of an injury. His Argentina teammate Giovani Lo Celso is also a major doubt for the clash.

Oliver Skipp’s ban is up and he will return to the midfield for Spurs. Antonio Conte has also confirmed that he will rotate his team for Thursday. The likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele, Matt Doherty, Dele Ali, and Steven Bergwijn will come into the starting line-up.

Match prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 NS Mura

No matter how many changes to the first team Antonio Conte makes, Spurs still have way too much talent for NS Mura to handle. Tottenham should breeze past the Slovenian side easily. NS Mura are on a woeful run of form both in Europe and domestically. They will struggle to get any sort of positive result from this fixture.
