Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is very likely to leave Stamford Bridge in January. In the last window, Bayern Munich were not able to sign Trevoh despite showing interest. Sky Deutschland now state the Bundesliga winners haven’t forgotten about the 24-year-old. He can operate as a centre-back or on the right side of defence. Moreover, Pochettino has left the defender out of his plans. Trevoh Chalobah has not made any appearance in the Premier League this season. However, Pochettino said in September,

‘His future is going to be [here]. He is in our plans. No one is going to decide for me. He is going to be there. Now we have finished the transfer window, he is going to be involved in the decisions. Chalobah and the other players in the squad are part of my plans. Some players don’t play, but that is my choice.

There is nothing to talk to him about this. He is a Chelsea player and he will have the same opportunities as the others.

According to Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, the German champions’ interest in the defender ‘has definitely not cooled down’, and they’re attracted by his versatility. However, Sky said it’s ‘too early’ to start concrete negotiations for a potential deal.

Plettenberg has even provided an update on X,

The journalist even claims that contacts with the German giants never paused since the summer transfer window. Besides this, Chalobah has even played under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge during his managerial spell at west London club. As a result, a potential reunion between the two may happen in the upcoming January transfer market.
