Two Deals Fall Apart At Liverpool While Pochenttino Steps Up At Chelsea

Two deals fall apart

Liverpool boss , Jurgen Klopp might have to search the market for alternative transfer options this summer . Liverpool’s midfield transfer options could be reduced . Two deals fall apart for Liverpool .

Manuel Ugarte and Conor Gallagher, in particular, are edging closer to resolving their club futures. It is believed that Chelsea’s involvement has played a role in these developments .

Liverpool, along with several other teams, have been monitoring the performances of Sporting Lisbon’s star player,Manuel Ugarte. According to reports, scouts from Liverpool were present to observe him during a match earlier this month. However, there have been no indications so far of Liverpool making any significant efforts to meet his £52 million valuation. The club has not shown a proactive approach in pursuing a deal for the player.

This week, it was revealed that Paris Saint-Germain made an offer matching Ugarte’s release clause. However, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the payment terms of PSG created an opportunity for Chelsea to potentially outbid them. The nature of the payment terms has left the door open for Chelsea to make a more attractive offer. This suggests that Chelsea could still have a chance to surpass PSG’s bid for Ugarte. Fabrizio Romano tweeted

” Paris Saint-Germain have sent first bid to Sporting but different payment terms than €60m release clause. Not done yet.

Chelsea are absolutely into the race — Ugarte is one of the names for new #6, list includes Caicedo.”

Klopp thus seems to have lost another potential transfer this summer.

Mauritio Pochettino ‘s stance

Gallagher often made appearances off bench . The new manager of Chelsea , Mauritio Ponchettino has made his stance clear and wishes that the player remains back at Chelsea . The player has many admirers at Anfield but Pochettino seems to have other plans set up for him .
