Victor Osimhen confirms Premier League interest amid Arsenal and Man Utd links.

Victor Osimhen has confirmed that Premier League clubs are interested in signing him this summer. The striker has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a successful campaign at Napoli. He scored 18 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions. Osimhen’s form has attracted interest from Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Arsenal. There were some reports that Arsenal already bid £51m for the Nigerian international. Although, the bid was short of Napoli’s reported asking price of £85m. Napoli are not likely to lower the price for the striker. Manchester United are keen to sign Victor as Darwin Nunez was confirmed as a Liverpool player yesterday. Arsenal are also monitoring his situation. Although, their preferred striker signing would be Gabriel Jesus.

VICTOR OSIMHEN COMMENTS ON HIS FUTURE

With rumours circulating about a possible move from Italy, Osmihen addressed his future. He is currently on international duty with Nigeria.

Osimhen was quoted by Calciomercato, stating: “I know there are many people that would like me in Spain or England, but I don’t think it’s the right time to talk about it now that I’m with the national team. I always go out on the pitch to do my best both with the national team and with my club.” I don’t know my future, I know anything can happen, but now I just want to go on holiday with my family, clear my head and recharge my batteries. Then we’ll take care of everything else.”. The forward has scored five goals in the current international window. It includes a four-goal haul in Nigeria’s 10-0 win over Sao Tome & Principle.

His recent performances are expected to make more & more top teams interested in him. Although, the player is unsure about leaving Italy for Premier League. Despite that Osimhen is expected to get a lot of interest in him during the summer transfer window.
