Leicester City extends their run without a win in the Premier League to five games as they suffer yet another 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolves.

Ruben Neves gave the home side an early lead in the 9th minute. Leicester City were the better side and created a lot of chances but could not convert on any of the chances. But Brendan Rodgers‘ side did take the lead with Ademola Lookman in the 41st minute.

Leicester City started the second half in a similar fashion. But again could not convert any of the chances they created. Lookman created a lot of problems for the Leicester backline. Daniel Podence scored against the run of play in the 66th minute handing Wolves the lead.
Wolves defended quite narrowly and went into a low block to hand the home side the win. With this win, Wolves now move up to 7th in the Premier League table.

Wolves player ratings

Jose Sa 7

The goalkeeper was immaculate with his passing. He also made a few decent saves but could not bring the clean sheet home.

Nelson Semedo 6

Did very well going forward but looked pretty suspect defending against Lookman.

Max Kilman 7
Looked to really struggle to keep Lookman at bay in the first half. But grew into the game and got the better of Lookman in the second half.

Conor Coady 7
The skipper made a few important interceptions in the game. He made a very crucial interception to deny Daka a tap-in goal.

Romain Saiss 7
Just like most members of the backline, he made a few crucial blocks and interceptions in the game. Saiss played a very crucial part in Wolves taking home all three points.

Rayan Ait-Nouri 6

The left wing-back came really close to scoring but his shot just whistled past the post. Leicester tried to double up on him and created a few problems for the defender.

Leander Dendoncker 6

His passing was a bit off in the middle of the park. But he produced another tireless performance in the middle of the park.

Joao Moutinho 6

He looked really creative in midfield but was substituted at the hour mark when the manager decided to change formation.

Ruben Neves 8

Neves scored yet another goal from outside the box and did plenty of defending throughout the game.

Daniel Podence 7

His first touch was immaculate at times and scored the 2nd goal to hand Wolves the three points.

Raul Jimenez 6

Jimenez started the game in brilliant fashion but had a quiet game after that.
