Xavi Simmons talks about his future, as he is under Arsenal’s radar

Dutch midfielder Xavi Simmons discusses his future plans, as report suggests that the 20-year-old is under Arsenal’s radar.

As per reports, Simmons is one of the name in Gunner’s list for the summer transfer window. Manager Mikel Arteta is planing to bring in some new midfielders for the upcoming season.

Alongside Declan Rice, Arteta have huge admiration for the Dutch midfielder. After some impressive performance for the National side, Simmons will have number of options to choose form.

While speaking to Dutch media this week, Simmons admitted that he doesn’t quite know where is future lies. With Arsenal’s bid on the table, Simmons will admitted that he will take his time and speak with his family about his next move.

According to Voetbal Primeur, Simmons said:-

“I don’t know yet. I’m with the Dutch national team now, I’m going to work here for two weeks and then we’ll see what happens. Soon we will decide together with family what is best for me.”

Dutch Legend Rafael van der Vaart is a huge admirer of Simmons and termed him as “world class” last year. The 20-year-old is in great form for PSV Eindhoven, as he scored 19 goals and provided 9 asists in the current Eredivisie campaign.

With Granit Xhaka leaving the club this summer, Arsenal will have huge gap to fill for next campaign. Gunners will need to bring some more reinforcement other than Declan Rice.

Xavi Simmons looks like a player of huge calibre, but there will be questions due to his tender age. He might need few more years before trying his craft in the Premier League.
