Youri Tielemans looks to move away from Leicester in the coming season and is linked to some of the biggest clubs in Europe. The talented Belgian came over from Monaco in 2019. He went onto consolidate his position as one of the most consistent midfielders in the Premier League.

He is best known for his witty passes, technical prowess and robust defending. Any of the big clubs of Europe would certainly want to have him in their team. Moreover, he is reportedly wanted by teams like Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

During his playing career at Leicester he has gone on to directly contribute to 36 of the goals in his 152 matches that he played for Leicester. Tielemans’ highlight of the career came probably in the 2020-21 FA cup final against Chelsea. Here, he scored the sole goal which went onto be the winner in the match.

Youri Tielemans to Real Madrid?

Sacha Tavolieri recently reported that Real Madrid has shown interest in the Belgian. He also added that the Laliga winners would like to bolster their midfield with the youngster.

Moreover, this news got some base when it was known that Tielemans informed his friends that he is interested in playing Spain’s ‘top-flight’. Also, at the beginning of the season, Brendan Rodgers had hinted at Tielemans exit at the end of the season. He said,” He is at an age and at a stage in his contract where he has to ensure he looks at every option.”

Rodgers voiced his wish to make him play at Leicester. However, he ended by saying that ‘it’s a very short career’. Fans would probably get disappointed to see the talented youngster leave at the end of the season. However, if Leicester could negotiate an effective bargain price for Tielemans then the blow of Tielemans’ exit would subsequently be reduced.
