Youssoufa Moukoko is now linked with a move to Newcastle United from Borussia Dortmund. Both Chelsea and Newcastle are linked with a move for Youssoufa Moukoko. Youssoufa Moukoko have played for Dortmund for the past six and a half seasons. Furthermore, the youngster have scored 83 goals for the Dortmund U17s. The striker was seen as a replacement for Erling Haaland. Haaland left Borussia Dortmund last summer for Manchester City. Although the player have not yet managed to reach Haaland’s numbers but he have already surpassed expectations at the German club.

Youssoufa Moukoko have gained interest from Newcastle United

Newcastle have reportedly offered a huge bid for Youssoufa Moukoko for the summer transfer window ahead of Chelsea. Chelsea were also linked with the young player. His good form during his season have attracted the interest of different clubs in Europe. They could sign the player for free next summer when he gets out of his contract. Last month Chelsea were reported to be in the lead to sign the player. But now reports claim that Newcastle are well placed ahead of Chelsea to sign the player. Chelsea are in risk to miss out on the player. Dortmund are keen to make the player stay but they are struggling to meet the player’s wage demands. Barcelona were also reportedly interested in signing him. However, it looks like Newcastle could be the next destination for Youssoufa Moukoko.

This move by Newcastle makes a lot of sense as they are currently signing the best and young talents in the game. Since the new owners took over the club they have signed Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman, and Alexander Isak. All of them have had a successful season so far since coming to St. James Park. Youssoufa Moukoko could become an asset to the club in the coming years.
