Oleksandr Zinchenko has joked about his two Arsenal team-mates who never pass the ball in the field, as per reports.

Zinchenko has been a revelation since joining Arsenal from rivals Manchester City last summer. The 26-year-old has been a mainstay in Mikel Arteta’s side this season, becoming the Gunner’s first choice at left-back.

Despite Manchester City winning the Premier League Title this season, Zinchenko will rightfully cement his place in the starting 11 for next campaign. His leadership qualities have also impressed Mikel Arteta this season.

According to The Athletic, Zinchenko has already played his last match for the season. The left-back sustained a calf-injury Arsenal’s 2:0 victory over Newcastle United.

Zinchenko has been seriously missed in Gunners consecutive defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest. Arsenal season tarnished and they slipped out at the last moment.

The Ukrainian’s ability to tuck into midfield which allows the likes of Granit Xhaka freedom to roam forward. While his calmness on the ball and extensive passing range has won huge applause.

However, recently Zinchenko joked about two of his teammates who doesn’t pass the ball. He told that not everyone selfless as himself, satirically.

According to the Ultimate Champions YouTube Channel, Zinchenko joked that Martin Odeegard and Rob Holding do not “pass” the ball. The defender was asked to the name the player with most number of touches during the 4:1 win over Leeds in April.

He opted for Leandro Trossard, but it was Odegaard who had the most touch. Zinchenko joked:-

He has more! He never pass the ball, he never pass the ball.”

The Ukrainian was even told that Rob Holding had the most touch in another game, which the left-back replied:-

“That’s what I’m saying, you never pass the ball!”
