20 million prices: A boost for Liverpool

Liverpool

Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Nunes’s price tag could be slashed by 20 million. This will be a boost for Liverpool as they are having him on their transfer list.

Liverpool are in much need of a boost

Liverpool has been struggling this season in all major club competitions. The major reason for this downfall has been their injured midfield.

All the star players were injured for the major part of the season. Moreover, they have also lacked squad depth and their young players have not been able to fulfill the place of injured players.

Anfield must land some new reinforcements in midfield and also create squad depth in order to avoid the same problem in the future.

Wolverhampton Wanderer’s price issue

Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently sitting 13th in the Premier League. They’ve only won one game in their last five fixtures. They are just three points clear of relegation.

Wolves were holding a price tag of 50 million if they were to sell Nunes to Premier League rivals. However, if they relegate to Championship, it would force them to slash the price tag by 20 million.

Conclusion

Lopetegui hailed Nunes for his versatility this season and is a very strong midfielder. Liverpool are eagerly trying to bring Nunes to Liverpool and did the same the last summer. Hence, we have to wait till the end of the season to see what price tag Liverpool will play if they sign Nunes.
