Liverpool target Andre Trindade admits he is a big fan of Jurgen Klopp as Reds are now favourites to sign him in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old recently won the Copa Libertadoras Final with Fluminense on this Sunday. German Cano and John Kennedy scored the goals for the winning team.
However before the final, Andre was speaking with the media. Spanish outlet AS asked him, ‘ how he would feel under Jurgen Klopp?’, Andre gave a cheeky reply:-
“I follow the outside games a little bit and I know that their [Liverpool’s] work is exceptional.
“Without a doubt, he is a great coach, very intelligent and successful. But at the moment, my coach is Diniz, a person who I appreciate a lot off the field and who understands my style of play. I know how much I’ve grown in the field under his guidance.”
Andre denies future plans amid Liverpool rumours
Despite strong links with Liverpool, Andre denies any rumours about his future plans.
The midfielder is currently focusing on his present as he is currently enjoying time with Fluminense. He said :-
“I don’t like to project too much into the future.
“I’ve been at Fluminense for 10 years, I have a contract and I’m very happy here.
“Reaching the final of the Libertadores is a childhood dream, and I just want to enjoy the moment with my teammates, we are fighting to win this important title for the club.”
Andre respects the fact that he is currently tied to a contract with Fluminense. However, this something Klopp will also appreciate too.
The midfielder leaving the club in January looks quite evitable now. Liverpool are currently stands as favourites to sign him as Reds interest over him in the summer is secret to no one.
