Arsenal are looking to sign a new new winger and a new defender next season to improve the overall quality of the team.
Other than Arsenal, Tottenham are also looking to sign a new player who’s price will around €50m and Liverpool is also looking to sign a new midfielder for a long term with at a discount.
Arsenal have entered themselves into the race to sign Xavi Simons in this summer, Gunners are very happy with Xavi Simons performance this season. They have contacted the representatives of the player and they have given the green light as the player wants to leave PSG and join other clubs.
The dutch player has played this season on loan in Bundesliga with RB Leipzig after signing as the replacement for their previous star Christopher Nkunku who is sold to Chelsea this season.
He can play at many positions like as a No 10 or he can also play on the either side of the wing, he has scored nine goals this season and gave around 15 assists this season. The stats are very good for a 21 year old player who has just started his career, there is a long road ahead, everyone thinks that he can live up to the expectation that only he created with his game.

Other than Arsenal, Leipzig also wants to make their loanee permanent in the club. If they get a chance they will sign him to make him stay at the for a long time. But the major problem for the germans is not convincing him to stay at the club the problem is that they can’t afford him as PSG is asking for €60m which is just a base price which can increased in the negotiations, they can’t spent this much amount on just one player, it will affect the financials of the club.
As a result, the favourites to sign the dutchman is Arsenal, the club who can pay that much amount. Other then Arsenal, Bayern Munich are also looking at the player’s current situation as they are also capable to sign and they are very eager to sign him if they get a chance as the performance of the germans in the league has been poor this year, so they are looking for young players that can help the club not just in present but also in future.
Barcelona also wants the player to be back at his childhood club, the club where it all started, but Barcelona are also facing some financial issues which might restrict the club to sign the player not only that the relationship between PSG and Barcelona are not very good, so it might make it difficult for them to negotiate with them.
Arsenal need a new attacker to make their attacking side more stronger.
However, Barcelona have also found an another way to bring the player back at the club is bringing him on loan and this could happen as PSG does not want to sell the player, they are only letting him go because player himself wants that, but he wents on loan in the summer, then next year he will be back at paris.
As of now the most prominent club to sign simons is likely to be Arsenal, as their main priority is to improve their attack which looked weak at some point of time specially at the crucial games.
So they need some attacker who are young but also have some experience and should be dynamic in the attacking roles and Simons has all the quality that Gunners need for next season.
