Arsenal will reportedly have almost all the players fit to play against Chelsea. However, they will miss two players due to injuries.
Although, it is going to be a better situation than the last few weeks. The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League table this season.
ARSENAL INJURIES WORRIES ARE GETTING LESS EVERYDAY
According to reports, Arsenal will have a nearly fit squad available to face Chelsea. This is an important game for the Gunners. They need to win the match to stay at the top of the Premier League table. Hence, Mikel Arteta will hope to have all the players available to him. It looks like his wish is going to come through.
Mohamed Elneny, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Bukayo Saka have all returned from injuries. Hence, they all will be fit to be included in the matchday squad. Kieran Tierney was also declared fit by the medical team. This is after he was injured in their Europa League game against FC Zurich. Hence, this will make Arsenal the favorite to win the all-important match.
THE GUNNERS DO HAVE SOME INJURY CONCERNS
According to reports, Arsenal will miss Takheiro Tomiyasu and Matt Turner due to injury issues. Matt Turner has suffered a groin problem. However, it is not going to be a long-term problem. Although, the injury will keep him out for the Chelsea clash. The USA international will hope to be available for the Carabao Cup clash against Brighton.
This is because he generally starts ahead of Ramsdale in cup competitions. However, the big miss will be Takheiro Tomiyasu. This is because he was in brilliant form for Arsenal in the left-back position. The Japan national team will also have an eye on his injury situation as the FIFA World Cup is coming close. Hence, they will hope that the injury is just a minor injury. Although, the good thing for Arsenal is they have Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney as other options for left-back.
Arsenal will also hope that their players participating in the World Cup return without any major injuries. Mikel Arteta will also make January transfer window plans during the World Cup break. Although, the manager will only look to improve the squad depth to challenge for the Premier League trophy.
