Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Brazilian midfielder Danilo from Palmeiras. Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a new midfielder before the transfer deadline.
This is following the injuries of Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny. The Gunners have also made a £20m offer for the midfielder.

The report also states that the Gunners have made £20m for the midfielder. However, the Brazilian side is going to reject the bid for the midfielder. The midfielder is a very important player for them. They think they can get more money from his sale next summer.
However, the report also claims that the Gunners will try to convince the midfielder to force a move before the deadline. This is because of the injuries in the midfield. Arsenal have two midfield injuries at the moment. Thomas Partey is nursing a thigh injury. Whereas, Mohamed Elneny has reportedly suffered a hamstring issue against Fulham.

Ainsley Maitland Niles is close to a loan move to Southampton. However, the midfielder will extend his contract until 2024 to protect his value. The Southampton deal will also have a buy option that is optional.
They are also close to confirming Hector Bellerin’s departure. According to multiple reports, the full-back is close to terminating his contract at Arsenal.
