THE GUNNERS NEED TO SIGN A MIDFIELDER BEFORE THE END OF THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW
According to reports, Arsenal are hoping to sign a midfielder before the end of the January transfer window. However, at the moment, they are focusing on signing young right-back Ivan Fresneda from Real Valladolid. Although, the Gunners should focus on the midfielder signing. This is because Mikel Arteta does not trust the ability of Lokonga and Elneny for long term. Hence, at the moment, there is a lack of depth for the Gunners in the midfield position.
However, this is not the case for the right-back position. Arsenal already have Ben White and Takheiro Tomiyasu for the right-back position. There is also a chance that the club does not have any problems in keeping Cedric till the end of the season. This is because Fulham are struggling to agree on a deal for the right-back. Hence, at the moment, they have 3 right-backs. Therefore, a right-back should not be the priority for the Gunners in the January transfer window.
However, one thing is for sure Arsenal have got bargain signings from Manchester City in the form of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Both of the players have won multiple titles with Manchester City. Hence, they have now brought a winning mentality to the Gunners for this season and the future season.
