Arsenal legend Kevin Campbell has said that he is impressed with the performances of Florian Balogun. The Gunners striker is on loan at Reims.
He has also praised the performances of Gabriel Martinelli. Hence, the legend has said that the future of the club is bright.
ARSENAL LEGEND PRAISES THE PERFORMANCES OF FLORIAN BALOGUN
A number of people were surprised that Arsenal’s young striker Florian Balogun decided to join Reims on a season-long loan. However, since then he has cleared all the following doubts. The England youth international is one of the top strikers in Ligue 1. Many football experts have also put him in the category with Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar.
Hence, it is clear that the young Gunners striker made the right choice. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will also be happy with his performances. The next season he is going to have Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus, and Florian Balogun as striker options. His performances also impressed Gunners legend, Kevin Campbell. He said,
“He’s finding his feet at the moment Balogun. He’s scoring goals, he’s got assists, he’s doing well, let’s keep him on that trajectory.”
THE PRAISES FOR GABRIEL MARTINELLI KEEP ON COMING
Kevin Campbell has also praised the performances of Gabriel Martinelli. He further said,
“They couldn’t get a kick against Brentford, but you could see the trajectory that these players are on. Martinelli is on a higher trajectory at the moment than Balogun.”
The Arsenal winger is currently one of the best wingers in Europe.
Hence, his expiring contract is one of the hottest topics for the January transfer window. The winger has already said that he would like to stay with the Gunners for a long time. However, he is yet to come to a full agreement for his extension. The report has also claimed that his agent wants him to be one of the highest-paid players in the squad.
Arsenal will hope that Gabriel Martinelli and Florian Balogun can be more destructive in the next season. However, currently, the full focus on Martinelli is on winning the World Cup in Brazil. Whereas, Florian Balogun will hopes to continue his brilliant form with Reims in the second half of the season.
