ARSENAL Were TOLD TO ENTER THE RACE FOR ENGLAND MIDFIELDER’S SIGNATURE
The report has also claimed that Chelsea are leading the race for Declan Rice’s signature. However, any decision will be made after the World Cup. Hence, Arsenal legend Kevin Campbell has urged Mikel Arteta and their owners to sign the England midfielder. He has also advised the club to leave the race to sign Jude Bellingham and sign Declan Rice.
Kevin Campbell further said,
“I’d buy Rice. All day long. Bellingham is good and he is younger.” But the game Rice has is perfect for what we have or what we are going to need. I am thinking he is a natural successor to Thomas Partey, who does things in a different way, but he can control a game himself, like Bellingham. “But if it was £100million and I had to pick one, then I would pick Rice. I think we have other players there who can do what Bellingham does, but there aren’t many midfielders like Rice.
Arsenal fans will also hope that they can complete the signing of Declan Rice or Bellingham in the next summer transfer window. This is because their midfield department does need young signings. Hence, the midfielder should be the priority in January and the next summer transfer window.
