Arsenal loanee Florian Balogun has said that he takes inspiration from the Brazilian legend. The Brazilian legend is Ronaldinho.

However, he knows that he has used trickery less to contribute to the team. The forward is currently loaned to Ligue 1 club Reims.

Arsenal forward Florian Balogun decided to join Reims FC in the summer transfer window on loan. This was despite the interest of the clubs from England. Hence, it was surprising to see him choose a very different move early in his career. Although, the move is slowly starting to make sense for all the parties. Florian Balogun is currently in brilliant form this season.

In Ligue 1, the English forward is the fifth-highest scorer in the league. Hence, Arsenal should also be happy with the form of the forward. The forward was brought in to replace Hugo Etikite who joined PSG on loan this summer. Hence, judging by the start of the season, it is Stad de Reims that has got the best deal of the two teams.

According to reports, the forward on loan from Arsenal has already got the attention of top European clubs. Hence, the Gunners will have to deal carefully with the future of their young forward. Although, for now, they are letting him enjoy his great form with Reims. The great form also saw him give multiple interviews with leading French outlets.

In one of the interviews, he said,

Absolutely! My favourite player is Ronaldinho, who always smiled and wanted to entertain the spectators,”.

He further said,

Even if, of course, I seek above all efficiency and I take my job very seriously, the desire to always offer joy through play is important to me. I like to entertain the spectators, while showing my character and my personality. I therefore also draw a lot of inspiration from Ronaldo the Brazilian, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

However, Florian Balogun is aware that he needs to score regularly this season to impress Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. Hence, he needs to keep on scoring goals for Reims this season. This will also help the French side get a top-mid-table finish in Ligue 1 this season.
