The one player that was certainly not happy with his limited game time was Albert Sambi Lokonga. He was signed by RSC Anderlecht. He was compared to Kevin Bruyne in his younger days. Hence, the Gunners had high hopes after signing him. Although, the midfielder has failed to create any sort of impact. This is the reason Fabio Viera was signed from Porto this season.
Hence, many thought he would leave the club. AC Milan were reportedly ready to sign him. However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta decided to keep him at the club. Although, he gets most of his appearances as a substitute in the Premier League. However, he does get the odd start in the Europa League. The Belgian midfielder finally got a game to start after a long time against PSV. He played well in the game and got his passes right. However, Arteta substituted him in the 67th minute.
Arsenal will have the chance to deal with the situation of Albert Sambi Lokonga in the January transfer window. The Gunners are also looking to sign a new midfielder in January. Hence, selling Lokonga would definitely raise more funds for the new midfielder.
