ARSENAL TRANSFER RUMOURS FULL STORY
According to reports, Arsenal targets Youri Tielemans and Mykhaylo Mudryk want to join the club in January. However, the report also confirms that the Gunners have not made offers for them. Hence, the futures of both players is unclear. The report also claims that both players are also ready to accept any personal terms offered by the Premier League giant.
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs further said,
“Newcastle are very much not the frontrunners for Mudryk, who has got his heart set on Arsenal, a bit like Tielemans has got his heart set on Arsenal. “But, with both Tielemans and Mudryk, the Gunners simply haven’t bid at this point.”
Therefore, the Gunners need to beat the likes of Newcastle United to sign both players.
YOURI TIELEMANS AND MYKHAYLO MUDRYK WILL IMPROVE THE SQUAD
There is no doubt that Tielemans and Mudryk will improve the quality and squad depth of the team. Hence, there is only one question that remains. The question is if he fits in the tactics of Mikel Arteta. Both of the players have shown their brilliant abilities this season. However, they will have to increase their game to another level under Mikel Arteta.
Both players are trying their best to join Arsenal in January. Youri Tielemans has rejected a contract extension with Leicester City. Whereas, Mykhaylo Mudryk has requested Shakhtar Donetsk to lower his price tag to allow a potential deal to the Gunners. The Ukrainian winger has also praised the tactics of Mikel Arteta this season. He has also said that he likes the playing style of Arsenal.
Hence, it is clear that both players are desperate to join Arsenal in the January transfer window. Therefore, the Gunners have the best opportunity to sign them. This is because the other top European clubs will try to sign them in the next summer transfer window.
