Arsenal will reportedly now not panic over making any signings in the January transfer window. They will also only make bids for the players that fit the playing style implemented by Mikel Arteta.

Hence, it looks like the club is now clear on the system they have to follow searching for the right transfer market. However, the Gunners would ideally like to sign a young right-back and a midfielder.

ARSENAL ARE HOPING TO BE BUSY IN THE LAST DAYS OF THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW

According to reports, Arsenal are hoping to sign two more players before the end of the transfer window. However, the report claims that the Gunners are in no hurry. Hence, they will only make moves for the players that fit the plans of manager Mikel Arteta. The Gunners are also not going to overpay for their top transfer targets. They do not want to make the mistakes made in the past seasons. The report also claims that the Gunners are looking to sign a young right-back and a midfielder.

Hence, signing these two potential players with Trossard and Jakub Kiwior, it will be a brilliant January window for Arsenal. The league leaders have also made their priority targets for the positions. They have already agreed on a fee for Real Valladolid’s young right-back Ivan Fresneda. However, Borussia Dortmund have also agreed on a fee and are in the race for his signature. Whereas, for the midfielder, at the moment, Youri Tielemans is the perfect option for the Gunners. The Belgian international is not going to renew his contract which expires in the next summer transfer window with Leicester City.

THE GUNNERS ARE ALSO HOPING TO SELL THE FRINGE PLAYERS BEFORE THE END OF THE WINDOW

According to reports, Arsenal are hoping to sell both Cedric and Rob Holding before the end of the January transfer window. This is to balance the financial books for the season. They also do not want to have an overcrowded first-team squad. Hence, Mikel Arteta wants to make spaces in the squad to register the new signings. They are also expecting a loan bid for Albert Sambi Lokonga. However, they will only loan him out after signing a new midfielder.

Arsenal are also hoping to loan out Marquinhos for the rest of the season. It is because the young Brazilian winger is now more down in the pecking order after the signing of Leandro Trossard. However, they are only looking for straight loans with no buy option. This is because the Gunners consider him a very big part of the future team. However, at the moment, they want Marquinhos to go on loan and get regular minutes for the rest of the season.

Hence, this looks like this is going to be a busy end to the January transfer window. It is both in terms of incomings and outgoings. They will also hope that new potential signings provide them with enough squad depth for the rest of the season. It is because Arsenal are hoping to win a league title and possibly a Europa League title.
