Arsenal are reportedly going to leave Marquinhos out of their Premier League squad. The winger was signed in this summer transfer window.
However, Mikel Arteta is going to let him leave on loan. The Gunners manager wants him to play more to develop his career further.
THE MARQUINHOS SITUATION AT ARSENAL
According to reports, Marqiunhos is not going to have a place in the final Premier League squad. The report also claims that he will be playing for the U-23 till January. In January he will be then allowed to leave on loan. Mikel Arteta wants him to play more games for his further development. The reason is due to the recovery of Reiss Nelson from his long-term injury.
Reiss Nelson got injured in training. This led to him missing the pre-season and start of the Premier League. Hence, the new summer signing Marquinhos played the substitute. He also started for Arsenal in the Europa League against FC Zurich. The winger also scored in the game. However, Mikel Arteta wants him to get more game time than he is getting at present. Therefore, there are chances that Marquinhos will be loaned out in the January transfer window.
THE RUMORED GUNNERS SQUAD FOR THIS PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON
Mikel Arteta will not be having any surprise changes in the final Premier League squad. In the goalkeeper, Aarons Ramsdale and Matt Turner are likely to be on the list. The defense department is likely to include Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Takheiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White and Rob Holding are likely to make the squad. In the midfield Thomas Partey, Xhaka, and Martin Odegaard are likely to be starters. Whereas Fabio Viera, Emile Smith Rowe, and Albert Sambi Lokonga are also there.
In the attacking department Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Gabriel Martinelli are the sure ones. However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have to pick his option from Reiss Nelson and Marquinhos. Although, early rumors are indicating that Reiss Nelson is going to be the lucky one. Hence this will likely mean that Marquinhos will be loaned out in the January transfer window.
The choices of the players will also mean that Cedric, Marquinhos, long-term injury Mohamed Elneny, and Karl Hein will not make the Arsenal final squad. However, things can change in the January transfer window for other players and Marquinhos.
