Former Aston Villa player Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli’s agent will not be happy with his comments. The comments were made on a potential new contract.
He has also said that the comments would reduce his chances of an improved salary. Hence, the winger has to think carefully before speaking on his future.

According to reports, Arsenal are currently negotiating an improved contract with Gabriel Martinelli. However, they have not reached a complete agreement with the club. Although, many claims that an agreement is close. The agent of Gabriel Martinelli has made it clear that his client should have a big pay rise on his new contract.
Chelsea were linked with a move for the Brazilian winger. However, Arsenal have made it clear that he is not for sale. The winger has also said that his first preference is to sign a new contract with the Gunners. However, there are a number of agents that prolong the talks in the hope to get their clients an improved contract. The winger’s agent is certainly not going to be different. However, he will be disappointed with the recent comments of his client.

“His agent’s probably saying like ‘stop saying that, no, no, no, we’re not signing yet, I’m going to get you the maximum money and the best contract possible, what you’ve done in the Premier League this season for Arsenal there’s going to be a number of clubs that want you, so you’re going to get the best possible deal’.
Arsenal would like to resolve the contract situation of Gabriel Martinelli before the January transfer window. They would also like to extend the contracts of Bukayo Saka and William Saliba. Hence, it looks like this is going to be a great season on and off the field for the Gunners fans.
