Since the arrival of Romelu Lukaku Werner has found it difficult to break into the first team. According to Eurosport, Chelsea want to sign Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich in a swap deal including Timo Werner.

Timo Werner has struggled to find his feet at the Stamford Bridge. Since joining Chelsea for £47million from RB Leipzig Werner has scored 12 goals while making 15 assists in a season that saw him lift the Champions League. Before joining Chelsea Werner had an incredible season with RB Leipzig. Julian Nagelsmann is excited to get his former player at his new club.

Moreover, Leroy Sane has fallen down the pecking order under Nagelsmann. So Chelsea have identified that they could get Sane to Stamford Bridge. On the other hand, Timo Werner joins Bayern Munich.

How will Timo Werner fit at Bayern?

Since Julian Nagelsmann knows how to get the best out of Timo Werner. Werner could be successful at Bayern under his former boss.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Werner won’t affect Robert Lewandowski’s position. But Werner can play many roles in Bayern’s attack. Recently Nagelsmann has spoken about versatility and flexibility with his players also his formations. Since Werner likes to roam free in the opposition half, we could see Bayern play with three at the back.

Moreover, Werner could come to Bayern at a discounted price. Chelsea have stacked their attack with many talented forwards. This could be the reason Werner might cost a lot less than his actual value.

Since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, Callum Hudson-Odoi has lost his first-team place. Mostly he has featured in the right wing-back position for Tuchel’s Chelsea. Hudson-Odoi has shown interest to leave Chelsea. He had an offer this summer from Bayern’s rivals Borussia Dortmund. But Tuchel was adamant about keeping him at Chelsea.
