Calvin Ramsay Signing Is Bad News For These Players

Liverpool have finally completed their third signing of the summer.  Calvin Ramsay is the latest addition to the Reds. Liverpool signed the young right-back from Scottish outfit Aberdeen for a fee of around 4.5 million pounds. The signing came after Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho and Benfica’s Darwin Nunez.

His addition potentially is a death knell for two other right-backs at Anfield according to reports. Neco Williams and Conor Bradley. Williams has got some chances in the first-team previously but has not impressed. It is clear that he is not in Klopp’s plans.  Bradley, on the other hand, maybe loaned out so he can get more experience.

Williams spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, where he appeared in 15 games. They won the Championship, ensuring their return to the Premier League. The Cottagers are supposedly interested in signing Williams on a permanent basis ahead of next season, as do Nottingham Forest.

Bradley, on the other hand, has risen through the ranks to the fringes of the first team in the last 12 months. He made five appearances for Liverpool. The 18-year-old has already made 35 appearances in Premier League 2 and now a loan may be on the cards to get him some much-needed first-team experience.

What Does Ramsay Bring To Liverpool

Although Calvin Ramsay is not a particularly flashy name, he has shown glimpses of talent at Aberdeen. Perhaps, Klopp sees something in him that we do not.

His style of play is similar to that of Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he has mentioned that he sees him as an idol too.

Although he is quite raw at the moment, Klopp can improve him drastically. The German tactician has revolutionized the way fullbacks play, and made Trent and Andrew Robertson one of the finest partnerships in the world.Ramsay may well be the newest tool in his arsenal.
