Pundit Clinton Morrison believes that Liverpool man was not in the limelight before this season. Clinton was speaking about the Liverpool man Dominik Szoboszlai. The Reds go to Christmas following a 1-1 draw against Arsenal. Though, many will be amazed to see that both the table toppers are yet to hit their peak form this season. Moreover, this result will certainly bolster the appetite of both the club fans to win.
However, the pundit believes that many people will not be aware of one player before the season, Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungary international has been a revelation at Anfield this season so far. His indefatigable stamina and work rate on the pitch is something fans were missing in their midfield. The Hungarian joined the Reds in the summer after impressing with the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig. Morrison certainly is impressed by the midfielder and telling Sky Sports News, he said,
“Szoboszlai. Listen, mine was close, really close between two. I just put him ahead of Mohammed Kudus, who’s been outstanding at West Ham, I think he will be a superstar. But this guy has been magnificent.
I can guarantee a lot of people didn’t know who he was before he came in, he was at RB Leipzig. But the goals he’s scored, fantastic. He’s going to be brilliant for Liverpool.”
Dominik Szoboszlai may not be a very much known figure before but is now surely brilliant. Liverpool were the only club willing to pay the tax for his release and it is now paying off. However, they still need to sign a holding midfielder if they want to be impeccable. Nevertheless, with this form, Szoboszlai is destined to be the next superstar of Merseyside in future.
