Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived at Manchester United well ahead of his schedule and looks forward to making a grand second debut. Ronaldo was on an international break playing the World Cup qualifiers but his break was cut short due to suspension. Ronaldo picked up a yellow card in the 2-1 victory over Ireland as he celebrated scoring the winning goal by removing his shirt.

As result he will not feature in Portugal’s next qualifying game against Azerbaijan on Tuesday. Following which Ronaldo landed in England early to start his training with his new club Manchester United.

Currently, the Portuguese will be on five day quarantine as per United Kingdom’s covid rules. But as soon as the quarantine ends Ronaldo will be training with red devils in Carrington. And completing his training he will be looking forward to making his second debut in the number 7 United shirt.

As the United players come back from their international break they will be lining up to face Newcastle United on 11th September. And playing in Old Trafford Ronaldo will be presented as a United player for the first time after completing his move this August.

Ronaldo’s first spell at Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo was first spotted with his exceptional talent when Manchester United traveled for a friendly against Sporting Lisbon. Then 18-year-old Ronaldo completely destroyed United’s strong defensive line with his fast runs, dribbles and shot. As a result, the United players urged their manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, to sign the young talent immediately.

Upon his arrival at Old Trafford after a few days, Ronaldo was presented with a number 7 jersey. And the 18-year-old boy made his first appearance as a substitute on 16th August playing against Bolton Wanderers. And after that, he went to make 291 appearances for the red devils scoring 118 goals. While in his six-year stay at Manchester United he won nine trophies.

And now coming back to United after 12 years, Ronaldo will like to do the same as he had done earlier. Take Manchester United back to their glory days which they are miserably missing for few years. And last but not the least, Glory Glory Man United and Viva Ronaldo.
