CSK Found The Replacement For Sam Curran

Chennai Super Kings(CSK) had been looking for a replacement. Sam Curran played amazing for CSK but after the injury, he couldn’t continue to play in IPL this year. And just at the right time, CSK signed Dominic Drakes as the replacement. An all-rounder with a positive reputation…Drakes replaces Sam Curran as of now.

The Barbadian player have already been in the IPL bubble. He travelled to the UAE as a net bowler for one of the franchises. It’s a big opportunity for this young West Indies player. Since, Sam Curran ruled out with his lower-back injury.

Drakes is a 23-year-old cricketer. He’s considered an all-rounder but his bowling is more impressive so far. Dominic is the son of a former cricketer of West Indies, Vasbert Drakes is Dominic’s father.

He’s an amazing all-rounder and not a bad option after Sam Curran injured himself. Dominic in his last tournament scored lighting 48 not out off 24 balls. He played this special knock in the final of the carribian tournament. Since, BCCI also approved the considered replacement. So, now we will be seeing Dominic Drakes in the yellow colors.

On 7 October, CSK will play their last game before the playoffs. According to the rules of IPL, a team can have a replacement player before the start of playoffs.

Chennai became the first team to qualify this year. They qualified with 18 points and have almost secured their position is the top two positions. This year have been a thrilling and positive year for CSK as of now. Dominic Drakes will be getting tons of amazing experience with this team.
