Does Declan Rice make a good fit for Arsenal

Rice’s deal expires next year, and while West Ham possess the option to extend his contract by an extra year. The player has made no secret of his desire to compete at the very highest level and to win trophies. Rice in an interview says:-

“Growing up as a kid I’ve seen all these top players win the trophies, win the Premier League, the Champions League,”

“Me as a football fan and a player I want to win the best stuff, I want to win the Premier League, I want to lift that trophy, I want to win the Champions League, I want to win the FA Cups, League Cups, even with England, I want to win it all.”

Rice could be the perfect fit for Arsenal but Arteta also prefers a left footed midfielder. Being young Rice could develop into a beast under Arteta. He will likely be bought to do the job Thomas Partey does. However, Thomas Partey has been one of the best Defensive Midfielders this season.

Potential of the ‘rock’ Rice

If Arsenal want to reinforce their midfield with real rock, look no further than the ‘sensational’ Rice. He will most likely be watching all their Premier League games. He wishes to have a place in the title race with serious interest in the near future.

The homegrown talent has yet again dazzled for West Ham under Moyes. He perhaps proving that he is ready for a blockbuster move across London to Arsenal. Rice stands out as their best-performing player by average match rating, all while making more interceptions per 90 than any of his teammates.
