Pundit Dion Dublin suggests that Tottenham Hotspur skipper Heung Min-Son can start for Manchester City. Speaking on Optus Sport, pundit said that Son can easily start for any top4 side rather than just City. The South Korean international was very unfortunate on Sunday against Aston Villa. He was ruled offside for three goals during the game which his side eventually lost 2-1 at home. The COYS also hit the woodwork twice and missed some really glaring chances. However, after the departure of Harry Kane, Son emerged out as the talisman for the team under Postecoglou.
The 31-year old player has netted the goal eight times this season so far. Though, he is goalless from his last three games as well. Still, Dublin feels that he can start fir any top side in the Premier League. Speaking on The Weekend Wrap, Dublin said,
“He makes great runs, does everything he possibly can to make sure he hits the target – chooses the right finish at the right time.
He could play for any of the teams in the top three or four, start. Quite easily.”
Son has been seen featuring on the left for majority of his career but is now playing a more central role on the field. But it is impossible for him to replace the Norwegian robot Erling Haaland at the moment. Even though the arrival of Jeremy Doku at Etihad, Son will surely be higher in the pecking order than the Belgian international. Nevertheless, fans will hope their skipper to regain his form as soon as possible as they will head towards Manchester to face defending champions Man City. Tottenham will look to come out of three consecutive defeats and drop a performance with some grit and attitude next weekend.
