€15 million Fares Chaibi is not under Arsenal radar anymore. Arsenal are all set to miss out on the attacker. The Gunners have been linked with Toulouse star Fares Chaibi. But all the signs are pointing to a summer move to Bundesliga giants Eintracht Frankfurt.
Fares Chaibi to Frankfurt looks more likely than Arsenal
Chaibi, will have big boots to fill. Kamada scoring 13 goals while setting up five more in all competitions this term. He would be going there probably as a replacement for Kamada. Chaibi is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the front line. He is producing some exceptional numbers of his own this term. 8 goals and 6 assists during an outstanding breakthrough campaign at Toulouse.
Les Violets want around £13 million. Frankfurt’s sporting director is attempting to reduce the fee. There is a belief that a compromise can be reached in time for the transfer window.
Oliver Glasner in an interview said:-
“I assume I’ll still be sitting on the bench here next season. “There is a contract until 2024. It’s no problem for me that we’re going into our last year, (but) that’s not our goal“
“(We have) also made a contract offer. We are in constant contact. It is a lot of fun working together and we don’t have any stress.”
Arsenal are not short in the attacking area. They might be after a bigger fish. Arsenal hope to get a midfielder in as soon a possible. A midfielder is Arsenal’s priority. Declan Rice seems to be the midfielder they are after. They will then only look to sign further attackers. A left-footed midfielder is what Arteta is after. Arsenal are looking at a lot of players and will make a move come the summer. Arsenal hope to get all their targets before the start of preseason.
