Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding Liverpool’s midfield situation, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has emerged as a potential transfer target. The 25-year-old midfielder has been linked with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur earlier this year.
Liverpool’s midfield has been under scrutiny in recent weeks due to the departure of captain Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq and Fabinho’s potential move to Al Ittihad. With two midfield signings already secured this summer, the Reds are still on the lookout for more reinforcements.
A Versatile Premier League-Proven Talent
Eberechi Eze’s potential transfer to Liverpool has been gaining traction since earlier this year. The 25-year-old midfielder was signed by Crystal Palace in 2020 from QPR. Liverpool To Be Potential Destination for Eze?
With Liverpool in need of midfield reinforcements, Eze emerges as a strong candidate. At 25 years old, he has considerable experience in the Premier League and is yet to reach his peak. Consequently, making him an attractive prospect for the Anfield club. Crystal Palace holds him under contract until 2025. Nevertheless, the Reds might explore the possibility of bringing him in to bolster their midfield options.
Liverpool is not the only club keen on acquiring Eze’s services. Manchester United has also been monitoring the player since last year, with their interest growing after Eze’s standout performances for Palace.
