Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Bayern Munich inquired about Liverpool midfielder Fabinho, as the Brazilian is on the verge of joining Al-Ittihad this summer.

It may be a new opening for Fabinho this summer. While moving to Saudi might earn him huge amount of money, but the Brazilian might have chance to stay in Europe and join one of the biggest club on the Continent.

While speaking on Here We Go Podcast, Romano claims that Bayern Munich recently inquires Liverpool wheather Fabinho is available this summer. They also asked about what it would take to sign him in this transfer window.

However, the German outfit were quickly responded back by Liverpool and told the deal with Al-Ittihad was in final stages to hijack now. Fabrizio Romano shared what he knows about the situation :-

“Fabinho, the deal remains on, I keep saying the deal is on. With the Saudi club you have to wait for the documents, for the official bids, you have to look at the terms that are crucial.

“The deal is absolutely on, it is done on the player’s side, he spoke to Nuno the manager there. The expectation is for Fabinho to go to Al-Ittihad. Bayern called a few days ago to ask if the deal was done or if there was a chance to enter the race, but answer was very clear, the deal is too advance with Al-Ittihad.”

Let’s be honest, the 29-year-old isn’t leaving Liverpool to explore new challenges or to compete in a different league. He is simply leaving the club for money.

A £40m fee to fee to Liverpool and a massive salary is what taking Fabinho enroute to Saudi Arabia. However, if wage structure was same, the Brazilian would have joined Bayern Munich.
