Journalist Fabrizio Romano says West Ham United are interested in £40m Bournemouth ace. Romano reports that West ham are looking for Dominic Solanke. Writing on CaughtOffside, he says the Hammers are big fans of the Bournemouth ace. However, they are yet to make a decision on him fora move. Hence, it will be too early to jump on a conclusion. Though, the links between the 26-year old and the hammers is increasing as the transfer window is nearing. The Mirror recently reported that the Hammers are ready to make another approach for Solanke.
Romano reports the interest of West Ham and thought on Ings
West Ham are desperately looking for a striker since the previous window. Now, david Moyes is eager to bolster his attacking options after the departure of Scamacca. Romano said,
“Following rumours that Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke could replace Danny Ings at West Ham, I can say that Solanke is appreciated by the London club. He’s one of the players they like but no decision has been made yet as it is still early. I have no information about the future of Ings.”
Dominic is in a good form as well this season. The former Liverpool man has netted six goals in twelve games for Bournemouth so far this season. All this makes sense why West Ham are targeting him. However, he has recently penned a new contract until 2027 with the Cherries. Moreover, Andoni Iraola told the Bournemouth Echo that,
“Obviously I think he’s really happy here. He has shown it also, renewing his contract not so much time ago. So I think it’s really nice for us.
The feeling I’ve had with him since day one I was here has been very, very good. He has a lot of different skills.
He can adapt to different ways of playing and he’s very complete to be a number nine.
Probably we talk more about him when he scores the goals, but his performances have been more or less the same level from the first day of the season.”
