Fabrizio Romano says a deal between Haaland and Real Madrid is yet not materialised

Journalist Fabrizio Romano shares the update of transfer between Real Madrid and Erling Haaland. The Italian journalist says there is ‘nothing concrete’ between Haaland and Real Madrid yet. However, the rumours continue to heat up for a deal between Manchester City and the Spanish giants.

The Norwegian has had a stunning debut Premier League season winning the golden boot. Besides this, he was also the PFA young player of the year. Moreover, he is still not looking to cool down his red-hot form this season. The striker has 13 goals so far and is three more than second top-scorer Mo Salah. The Spanish giants Madrid are also looking for a new striker in the market after the departure of Karim Benzema in the summer. With the numbers Haaland is putting season-by-season, it is obvious that Perez will surely be speculating his situation.

It is also believed that the 14 times Champions League winner are looking to sign Kylian Mbappe since long. If they are able to sign him and Haaland in a few years, they will surely have the best attacking lineup since Bale, Benzema and Cristiano. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, this deal is not looking feasible at the moment. He said,

“There’s absolutely nothing concrete regarding Erling Haaland at this stage, despite people reading more into his agent, Rafaela Pimenta’s recent answers to questions.

Personally, I think she’s just giving normal answers to normal questions. Haaland is not thinking about anything else other than Man City and the club’s focus on this season. I don’t think Pimenta is being evasive or difficult at all.”

Manchester City are themselves a European and English champions. A pursuit of leaving them for Madrid or Barcelona is not looking a vulnerable deal though.
