Harvey Elliot signs new long-term deal with Liverpool

Harvey Elliot recently signed a new contract with Liverpool. The deal will see him remain at Anfield till 2027.

Elliot has been a highly rated prospect for quite some time now. He recently made the step up to the senior squad last season. However, he, unfortunately, sustained a serious fracture in his foot against Leeds United last season. Elliot had started their first three out of four games. But the injury kept him out for nearly six months.

However, the winger seems to be back in good health. Liverpool can clearly see the level of talent Elliot possesses, and want to keep him at the club for the future. As a result, they have offered him a long-term deal.

Harvey Elliot On The New Deal

Elliot was obviously delighted with this development. He expressed his excitement to be playing for his boyhood club, where he has been since he was a little kid.

It is always nice to know that I’m going to be here for many more years, which is always a great thing with it being my boyhood club and there is nothing in this world that makes me more happy and more excited than this.  It’s been a big rollercoaster for me and my family and even for the club. So much has happened in the years that I have been here.

We have already won so much and hopefully, we can win so much more. There is no better place in this world to be than playing for Liverpool and to put the shirt on and go out and play for the team and the fans.

I’m hoping there are many more memories to come with it but I’m just so excited to put pen to paper and stay here for a lot longer.
