Barcelona President Joan Laporta has insisted that midfielder Frenkie De Jong is not for sale this summer. He is linked with a move to Manchester United since the start of the transfer window.

However, negotiations in recent days have fallen flat in recent days between the clubs. The player also reportedly wants to stay at Barcelona.

As it stands the Dutch midfielder is a Barca player. The player is under contract till 2026. Many reports suggest Barcelona want to get De Jong’s alleged £75m wages off their books. The midfielder has made 138 appearances in all competitions for Barca since arriving in 2019.
