West Ham United confirmed this will be the last season of David Moyes. He had a brilliant spell with West Ham winning them silverware in the way. Even though there were questions over his play style the fans still loved him. West Ham United announced that Julen Lopetegui will be his replacement this summer. The former Real Madrid manager saved Wolves from relegation in his short tenure. He left after his clash with Wolves and West Ham saw the oppurtunity. However Julen Lopetegui move to West Ham United maybe in doubt as of now.
Currently there are no official announcement over the transfer of manager to the London club. While it is widely accepted Lopetegui is signed as West Ham’s manager for next season. They are speculations that link him with a move to Bayern Munich.
German Giants affecting Julen Lopetegui move
Bayern Munich confirmed their manager Thomas Tuchel will leave the club after this summer. It was a disappointing season for Bayern Munich as they lost league title to Bayern Leverkusen. They are also knocked out of Champions League in Quater Finals against Real Madrid. After this Thomas Tuchel decided to leave and this made him a target for West Ham United.
Jules Lopetegui has already agreed to be West Ham’s new manager on what we believe will be a three-year contract. Moreover he has been working with technical director Tim Steidten to identify targets ahead huge summer transfer window for West Ham. This shows that Bayern Munich have already lost their chance to sign him. Bayern Munich have also been rejected by numerous other managers like Ralf Ragnick, Julian Nagelsmann, Xabi Alonso. It is reported even Thomas Tuchel did not changed his mind despite several attempts from the club. It looks like we will have to wait and see who will sign for the German club.
