Klopp gets angry at reporter as Carragher still have faith in the German

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is under a lot of scrutinies as Liverpool suffered a horrific defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League Quarter Finals.

A dramatic defeat as Real came from behind to seal the victory at Anfield. At the end of the night, the score was 5:2 and Liverpool’s horrific run continues.

However, Klopp now needs to concentrate on Premier League as they face Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Reds are currently sitting at 8th position and currently lagging behind in the title race. There can be some changes in the starting line-up against the Eagles on the weekend.

Amid the defeat, Klopp fumes at the reporter when he was asked about the performances of opposition players. The German was questioned about Vinicius Jr and later asked whether or not he’d hand Luka Modric a new contract. After his team’s horrific defeat, the manager was in no mood to these questions. Klopp intervened before the next question and had a crack saying –

“Please ask me more questions about Real Madrid players.”

CARRAGHER THINKS KLOPP IS IRREPLACEABLE

After the heavy defeat against Real on Tuesday, Jamie Carragher still have his faith in the German. Former Liverpool Legend has insisted that the Liverpool hierarchy should keep faith in the German. Carragher was vocal about the defeat on Tuesday and labeled the result a “shambles”. He told Football Mirror:-

“When Liverpool win the manager is the star it is all about the manager, and I like that about our club because it always gives the manager a sense of power and there is not too much panic from within the club that the manager would go.

“I’m convinced of that and I don’t think there will be any Liverpool fan anywhere that would question that. The first thing for me is you don’t change the manager you change the players.

“You’re not going to get another Klopp and that’s my thing, where do you get another Klopp for Liverpool?”
