Jurgen Klopp is facing distrust from Liverpool fans given their poor form

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is being questioned by Liverpool fans after their underwhelming season so far. West Ham United player Michail Antonio have stated this news to be ‘ridiculous’ when told about it. The striker was told that some Liverpool fans are hoping for Jurgen Klopp to be sacked. The player just said that it is ‘ludicrous’ to even question his future given what the Germans have done for the club. Liverpool had not won the Premier League title for three decades, but it changed with Klopp’s arrival at the club. The Reds also won the Champions League along with other domestic titles with him. He will go down as one of the club’s legendary managers whenever he decides to call it a day. And to be fair, a manager with his credentials should be able to decide his own future rather than being sacked.

Michail Antonio finds Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp rumor ridiculous

Nonetheless, Jurgen Klopp is deemed as one of the best managers in the world. Although the Liverpool side has been struggling to find consistent ground this season, it does not cancel out the credentials of the manager. Antonio was questioned about the German manager on a podcast. The player commented,

“Wow, That is ridiculous. You can’t. That’s ludicrous. Getting rid of him would just be stupidity. He won the Premier League with Liverpool.”

He further added,

“At the end of the day, so many managers have been there and they haven’t done it.”

Since the return of the domestic league after the World Cup, no other club than Liverpool have struggled this season. The team have struggled constantly to put up a consistent performance.

However, on Tuesday night, the Jurgen Klopp side finally managed a win. Liverpool managed to ease the pressure a bit after registering a win against the Wolves. The Reds, therefore, are through to the next round of the FA Cup. This was a much-needed win for them, furthermore, they managed to keep a clean sheet in the match. This win would be the much-needed moral boost for the team.
