Klopp might say goodbye to Liverpool as he hold talks with Spanish Giants

Liverpool

Reports suggest that Jurgen Klopp has held talks with Spanish Giants and has told them he wants two world-class players if he joins the club.

Klopp joined Liverpool in October 2015 and have won all the silverwares such as the Champions League(2019), Premier League (2020), FA Cup, and Carabao Cup(2022) in his current reign.

However, Liverpool are struggling this season. Klopp’s side currently sits at 10th position, 11 points behind the fourth-placed Newcastle United. With injuries to some key players, Liverpool currently looks into all sorts of issues.

The Reds have lost six consecutive matches across all competitions. Their last win came against Wolves in FA Cup third-round replay in January.

Amid crises, rumors have spread that Jurgen Klopp might leave Anfield. German analyst Raphael Honigstein have claimed on The Athletic Football Podcast that this season have certain similarities with Klopp’s penalty mate season in Borussia Dortmund. He appears unhappy and often lashes out at reports, something he did at BVB.

Earlier, Chelsea have urged to sign the German manager to replace Graham Potter, if Chelsea’s boss gets sacked. But now, news have spread that Klopp wants to join Real Madrid.

According to Goal’s live transfer blog, news have speculated from Spain that Klopp held talks about becoming the next Real Madrid manager. Los Blancos are currently happy with Carlo Ancelotti. But The Italian is 63 years old and Madristas soon need a perfect successor. And Klopp could emerge as an ideal replacement.

KLOPP ISSUES TWO TRANSFER DEMANDS IF HE JOINS REAL MADRID

If Jurgen Klopp joins Real Madrid, he demands two world-class players to play under him. The first player on Klopp’s wishlist is Jude Bellingham. The charismatic Englishman is one of German’s favourites in recent times and hence Liverpool are targetting him for a long time. But now, Real looks to snatch both Klopp and Bellingham.

Another player Klopp is eager to work with is French World Cup winner, Kylian Mbappe. Real targeted him last summer but fell sort of it. Liverpool are also a great admirer of Mbappe and held an internal discussion about landing the Frenchman in the past.

Real Madrid can become “unstoppable” if they make these transfers possible in the future. But the German has immense love for Anfield and leaving the team in this worst scenario will look like a harsh decision.

Klopp signed a contract with Liverpool in April last year which will keep him until 2026 and he might want to see a few more years before joining the Spanish Giants.
