Juventus can get Roberto Firmino for cheap this summer

Juventus

Juventus have reportedly shown an interest in Roberto Firmino of Liverpool. Firmino has been a vital cog in Klopp’s machine over the last few years, forming a deadly trio with Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane.

However, the Brazilian has fallen down in the pecking order after the arrivals of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz.

Since it is a World Cup year, he will hope that he can be up to speed when the carnival of football kicks off. But Firmino may not get the required minutes to do so at Anfield. It is said that he is open to a move.

Corriere Dello Sport claims the former Hoffenheim man is open to leaving Liverpool. In addition to that, he is encouraging Liverpool to facilitate a move.

The quoted price for Firmino is. Although this feels quite less for a player of his quality, it is quite reasonable given he is in the final year of his contract, and has just reached 30 years of age.

Firmino joined the Reds from Hoffenheim in 2015. A pressing machine who is full of flair, the Brazilian has 98 goals and 74 assists during his time in Merseyside. Additionally, he has been a part of the Liverpool team that won the Premier League, Champions League and a cup double in 2022.

Should Juve Go For Firmino?

Firmino plays as a centre-forward and loves to drop in between the lines. He can do the job of linking the midfield to attack and create space for his wingers. Juventus have often been lifeless in attack over the last couple of seasons. Someone like Firmino can help them open up defences while being a potent goal threat himself.

For the reported price, a player like Firmino can be a serious bargain. Juventus should be all over him and secure his signature.
