For Juventus, the transfer window is going to be big. There aren’t exactly out of depth but they lack quality both on and off the bench. The inability to keep Dybala is the most recent failure of the old lady administration.
Although it seems like they’re about to make their first summer signing as Paul Pogba. Juve is confident to sign the French man on a three-year deal.
Pogba currently is out of contract with Man Utd and has been linked with a move to every prominent club in Europe. His departure has left the struggling Man Utd out of depth and quality. The French man had a terrible time at old Trafford plagued with an injury that restricted his performance.
His departure has brought an end to a largely disappointing second stint at United. According to the fans the French World Cup winner has failed to live up to his potential and holds a divided opinion among the fan base. Pogba was even approached by Man City but he decided to stay loyal to the fans of Old Trafford and denied any further progress with the citizens.
Juventus and Pogba
Pogba’s time in Turin has been a success for the club as well as for himself. From 2012 to 2016 Pogba won four successive Scudettos with the old lady. This mesmerizing form attracted interest from Jose Mourinho’s Man Utd who then signed him for a world-record fee of £89m.
A return to Italy is seen as the most likely destination for the French midfielder this summer. With previous glory Juventus are very confident to complete the deal as soon as the window opens.
According to reports, a verbal agreement has been agreed for a three-year contract for Pogba at Juventus. The sad demise of Mino Raiola has for some stalled the transfer talks but since then Rafaela Pimenta has stepped up to handle the situation.
Real Madrid and PSG have been monitoring him for a long time. Real even had an edge in this race but was unable to attract him.
Juventus are winners of this race unless a dramatic foreign entity forces the French man to consider a move away. Mbappe extending his stay with PSG is the most recent example of how anything is possible in these uncertain times.
