According to the Sky Sports pundit Kevin Campbell, Liverpool are currently leading the race to sign Jude Bellingham. He also claimed that Klopp has ‘the inside scoop from Dortmund’ which gives him the edge to sign Bellingham.
The young England international is climbing his way up the ranks and many believe he already is a world-class talent. Many reports linked Liverpool for most of his transfer window regarding a transfer.
But Bellingham’s current camp didn’t give the green signal to the Anfield club to sign him. The Signal Iduna Park outfit just lost their star forward Erling Haaland to Manchester City. Surely they don’t want another key figure to depart in the same season

However many believe Jude will leave Dortmund before the start of the 2023 – 2024 season. This will be when Klopp and Co. will again pounce o the opportunity to sign him. Speaking to Football Insider, the Sky Sports pundit Kevin Campbell said the following:
“I think Dortmund tend to sell one big player a year – and obviously this year it was Haaland. Jude Bellingham will be a better player for having been out in Germany for another year.”
“Klopp likes him a lot, that’s obvious. If he comes on the market next summer, I’m sure Liverpool will be at the front of the queue to sign him. They’ve inquired, I’m sure, and Klopp has had the inside scoop from Dortmund – unfortunately he’s not available.”
Klopp and Co. already made a big signing this summer in the form of Darwin Nunez who is also the costliest inbound transfer in Liverpool’s history. Now it definitely looks that Jude Bellingham will be on top of their list as a marquee signing in the next 12 months. Considering the midfielders’ age of Liverpool, they need to change them in some time as most of them are in their 30s. Jude Bellingham will be a perfect addition.
