Nunez termed as ‘Real Force’ and will explode in future – Klopp

Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised Darwin Nunez on the club’s official website after his heroic performance against Manchester United on Sunday.

Liverpool hammered Red Devils 7:0 at Anfield. United Manager Erik Ten Hag was not at all pleased with his team’s performance.

The Uruguayan striker scored two goals for his team and showed an exquisite level of form on the field. The 23-year-old scored the first goal in the 47th minute and another goal in the 75th minute. Also, Jurgen was quite impressed with Nunez and suggested the fact that he could soon explode. The German further claimed:-

“I think nobody was in doubt about Darwin’s future impact when he settles because he is a real force of nature, Cody plays in the most difficult area of the pitch against a man-marking side which is super tricky, but how he keeps himself on his feet there and has the overview of everybody else, Mo is Mo, midfielders around.”

Frankly speaking, Nunez’s both goals against Manchester United will enhance his confidence and will help him to grow further in the future. The Uruguayan joined Liverpool last summer with great expectations. He made a name for himself at Benfica FC before joining the Reds. So far Nunez has shown signs of mixed form as scored 12 goals across all competitions this season. But he also missed too many open chances which have questioned his ability in front of the goal.

Young players need time to settle down in a new club and with time, Nunez will flourish and score more goals for Liverpool. However, Liverpool are unbeaten in the last 5 Premier League clash and there are signs of resurrection in their form.
